Cross procession to St. Xenia of Petersburg Skete takes place in Bukovyna

On February 5, 2026, on the eve of the Feast of St. Xenia of Petersburg, a cross procession set out from the village of Ostrytsia near Chernivtsi to the village of Molnytsia near the Bancheny Monastery, where there is St. Xenia's Skete, reports a UOJ correspondent.

Several hundred pilgrims, most of whom were young people, walked about 15 kilometers to attend the evening service on the eve the Feast of Saint Blessed Xenia.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Bukovyna a procession took place to the Righteous Anna Convent.
