Court hearing in Upper Lavra case to take place on February 18

On February 18, 2026, a hearing regarding the right to use the Upper Lavra will take place at the Northern Commercial Court of Appeals in Kyiv. This was reported by the lawyer of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery, Archpriest Nikita Chekman, on his Telegram channel.

Archpriest Nikita Chekman clarified that the hearing is scheduled for 4:00 PM at the address: 1A, Sholodenko Street, Kyiv.

The lawyer asked for prayer support from all believers.

As the UOJ reported, the court hearing in the expulsion of monks from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was previously postponed.
