Patriarch Porfirije receives the Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia
On November 2, 2022, the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfirije, received the Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia Volodymyr Tolkach, the official website of the Serbian Patriarchate reports.
Patriarch Porfirije welcomed the new Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia with the wish that the current situation, in which Ukraine finds itself, ends as soon as possible and peace is established.
In turn, Volodymyr Tolkach asked the clergy and believers of the Serbian Orthodox Church for blessings and prayerful support for a speedy end to the war in Ukraine.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, showed an evangelical example of love for God.
