According to the Dozor outlet, cited by the First Cossack channel, preparations are underway for a takeover of the monastery belonging to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Sources claim that the attack could be carried out during nighttime hours, and that active preparations are already in progress.

Among those allegedly involved in organizing the operation are named the head of the Boryspil District Administration, the mayor of Pereyaslav, Saulkо, as well as officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

It is also reported that representatives of the enforcement service and police officers may be involved in carrying out these actions.

According to the channel, the monastery faces the threat of expropriation. The site had previously been restored from ruin through the efforts of UOC clergy and parishioners and today serves as a spiritual center with an active and devout community.

Earlier, it was reported that a court upheld the eviction of a UOC community from a monastery in Kniazhychi.
