On March 20, 2026, celebrations were held at the Trinity Korets Stavropegial Women's Monastery in honor of the main shrine of the monastery – the miraculous “Surety of Sinners” icon of the Mother of God. The festive Liturgy in the monastery church was led by the Chancellor of the UOC, Metropolitan Antony of Boryspil and Brovary.
As reported by the UOC Information Center on its Facebook page, Metropolitan Anthony was concelebrated by Archbishop Oleksandr of Horodnytsia, Archbishop Damian of Fastiv, and Archbishop Ambrose of Zghurivka. Clergy and numerous guests in holy orders also prayed during the service.
In the church during the Liturgy prayed the abbess of the Korets Monastery, Hegumeness Parthenia, together with the sisters, abbesses of other women's monasteries, as well as numerous parishioners and pilgrims who came to venerate the miraculous image of the Most Holy Theotokos.
After the Gospel reading, Metropolitan Anthony addressed the faithful with an archpastoral sermon. During the service, fervent prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine.
At the conclusion of the Liturgy, the Chancellor of the UOC congratulated the concelebrating bishops, clergy, mother abbess, sisters, and all the laity on the feast of the venerated Korets icon.
