Poroshenko: Filaret passed on spiritual heritage to Epifaniy

Ex-president Petro Poroshenko commented on the death of Filaret Denysenko.

According to Petro Poroshenko, after the death of Filaret, the OCU is now being “affirmed by the Patriarch’s disciples.” He recalled that recently the head of the UOC-KP met with Epifaniy Dumenko to “pass on his spiritual legacy in farewell and support the Church during the current difficult trials.”

Poroshenko expressed confidence that books will be written and films will be made about Filaret, "because his life was rich with dramas and sharp turns."

Recall that Filaret stated that at the "Unification Council" of 2018, Poroshenko and Dumenko deceived him.
