On April 12, 2026, the feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ, the command of the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine presented a commendation to the clergy and faithful of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy, according to the eparchy’s press service.
Immediately after the Paschal night service, representatives of the charitable volunteer organization “God Is With Us” presented Metropolitan Victor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv with a certificate of honor and the battle flag of the 1st Battalion of Unmanned Systems.
The servicemen expressed their gratitude for the eparchy’s efforts in refitting a medical evacuation vehicle for the combat medics of the 112th Brigade. Earlier, the eparchy raised 300,000 hryvnias, which made it possible to convert a Mitsubishi L200 pickup into a medevac vehicle in line with technical requirements.
Metropolitan Victor blessed the upgraded vehicle on March 1, 2026. It is now already helping save lives in the combat zone in the Kramatorsk sector.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Metropolitan Victor presided over the patronal feast of the persecuted community in Krasyliv.
