Faithful of the UOC’s Annunciation Church organized a large-scale White Flower campaign to help families of displaced persons and Ukraine’s defenders. The Orthodox community gave children hundreds of free tickets for attractions and held a festive concert in the city dendropark, the UOC Information Center reports.

Parishioners prepared a rich cultural program for residents on the Day of the Holy Spirit. Organizers held a charity auction and handicraft workshops for all who wished to take part. Activists directed the proceeds toward supporting those in need and purchasing essential items for people affected by the hostilities.

The community of the Annunciation Cathedral is systematically engaged in social ministry and helps people who have found themselves in difficult circumstances because of the war. Clergy and laypeople in Kropyvnytskyi called the festival a testimony to the unity and compassion that gather believers around good works. Participants said such initiatives bring joy back to children and strengthen society’s spiritual resilience.

As previously reported by the UOJ, a UOC community from Cologne donated an ultrasound machine to a medical center in Bukovyna.
