On the Feast of the Holy Trinity, the persecuted religious community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Bukovynian village of Panka gathered for a festive Divine service in a room adapted for prayer. A video of the divine service was published on the Facebook page of the faithful of the Chernivtsi Eparchy on June 4, 2026.

Despite the trials they have endured and the lack of opportunity to pray in their own church, the believers, together with their rector, offered prayers of thanksgiving to the Lord, glorifying the Life-giving Trinity and asking God for peace, blessing, and spiritual strength for Orthodox Christians.

The community notes that the Feast of Pentecost became for the parishioners a special testimony that the Church of Christ lives not only within the walls of churches, but above all in the hearts of people who remain faithful to God and Holy Orthodoxy.

As the UOJ reported, after losing access to their church, the UOC religious community in the village of Panka continued to conduct divine services in a specially equipped room.
