On June 7, 2026, a solemn Liturgy was held at the All Saints parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Zavoloka of the Storozhynets Deanery, Chernivtsi region. This was reported by believers on the Facebook page of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy.
In the morning, Orthodox Bukovynians walked in a religious procession from the outskirts of the village to the church, where the service began. The Divine Liturgy was led by the secretary of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy of the Church, mitred Archpriest Dimitry Shcherban.
During the service, prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine, deliverance from the enemy, and God's blessing upon those who help the needy. Following the Liturgy, a procession was held around the church, with Gospel readings and the sprinkling of holy water.
In conclusion, the parish rector, Fr. Oleksandr Hlushko, thanked the clergy and faithful for their shared prayer, support, and participation in the joy of the parish feast.
As the UOJ reported, in June 2019 in the village of Zavoloka, a group of people seized the UOC church during the patronal feast. Over 15 months, the believers erected a new brick church, which was consecrated on February 16, 2021 by Metropolitan Meletiy of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna and Bishop Mark of Borodianka.
