As a result of a Russian drone attack, the Dormition Church of the UOC in the village of Mezhevo, Synelnykove district, Dnipropetrovsk region, was destroyed. This was reported by the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Eparchy.
According to the dean of the Mezhevo church district, Archpriest Georgiy Sergienko, the church building was completely burned down.
Fire engulfed the church after the hit, leading to the destruction of the interior decoration and structures.
Information about casualties is not specified. The eparchy noted that the Dormition Church is located on the border of Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
As SPJ reported, a UOC church in Kharkiv was damaged by shelling.
