TRC abducts priest of UOC Tulchyn Eparchy

On June 15, 2026, in the Tulchyn Eparchy, TRC officers abducted UOC cleric Archpriest Oleksandr Hrodzenko. An appeal to all concerned Christians was circulated on social media.

“We ask for your holy prayers,” the faithful wrote, expressing concern for the priest’s fate. At present, there is no information about the legal grounds for the forcible detention or the priest’s exact whereabouts.

As the UOJ reported, the TRC claimed that a detained UOC deacon with many children had allegedly volunteered for military service.
