On June 27, 2026, the faithful of the Oleksandria Eparchy of the UOC held a religious procession from the Church of the Holy Martyr Tatiana to the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the city of Znamyanka, Kirovohrad region, reports Fr. Kyrylo Bozhko on Facebook.
The prayer procession was led by Metropolitan Boholep of Oleksandria and Svitlovodsk, co-served by the clergy of the Znamyanka Deanery. During the procession, the faithful offered prayers for peace in Ukraine, the well-being of the people, and God's blessing.
The special sacred object of the procession was a reliquary containing the relics of all the saints of the Oleksandria land, brought from the Intercession Cathedral of Oleksandria, where it is permanently kept for the veneration of the faithful.
Upon completion of the procession, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh, led by Metropolitan Boholep co-served by the eparchial clergy. After the service, the hierarch addressed the faithful with a homily, calling them to prayer, preservation of the Orthodox faith, and unity.
As the UOJ reported, believers of the Volyn Eparchy completed a four-day religious procession to Pochaiv.
