The procession participants have covered about 40 kilometers, unceasingly offering prayers for peace in Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers, their families, and all those who suffer. The prayer procession concluded at the main church of the Khreshchatyk Monastery, the Annunciation Cathedral, where the pilgrims performed a kneeling prayer to the Lord and the Most Holy Theotokos.
Behind every religious procession are not only miles of walking, but also personal prayers, hopes, and gratitude to God. Orthodox Christians from Bukovina shared why they undertake this spiritual journey.
