Vicar of Khust Eparchy consecrates new chapel in Yasinia

Bishop Mark of Rakhiv performed the rite of consecration of a chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the Transcarpathian settlement of Yasinia, the Khust Eparchy reported on Facebook.
The consecration took place on July 7, 2026, with the blessing of Metropolitan Mark of Khust and Vynohradiv. During the service, the bishop and the faithful offered special prayers for peace in Ukraine, as well as for its defenders, both men and women.
The participants in the service also prayed for the residents of the settlement and for all benefactors who had worked to build and beautify the new shrine.
As the UOJ reported, a UOC chapel dedicated to St. Spyridon of Trimythous was consecrated in the village of Vilkhovtsi.
