Epifaniy Dumenko, during his visit to the Holy Mountain of Athos, visited the Iliinsky Skete of Pantokrator Monastery, where an icon of the holy Royal Passion-Bearers — Emperor Nicholas II and his family — is located. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Dozor", analyzing published photographs from the trip.
In the photographs from the visit, which appeared in the public domain, the interior of the skete's church is visible. Among the icons are images of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov and the Royal Passion-Bearers.
At the same time, as media outlets note, during the time spent in the church, no public statements or objections regarding the veneration of these saints were made by representatives of the OCU.
As the UOJ reported, in a seized church in Odessa, the OCU covered frescoes of saints with Ukrainian flags.
