On July 26, 2026, Metropolitan Mykolai of Kirovohrad and Novomyrhorod performed the rite of the Great Consecration of the Church of St. Prince Volodymyr in the village of Ivanivka and presided over the first Divine Liturgy in the newly built church, the Kirovohrad Eparchy reported on Facebook.

During the service, the hierarch was concelebrated by Archpriest Mykhailo Naidiuk, dean of the Novoukrainka District; Priest Myroslav Habinet, rector of the church; and visiting clergy. With the blessing of the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, Priest Myroslav Habinet was elevated to the rank of archpriest in recognition of his considerable efforts in the construction of the church.

The hierarch thanked the builders and parish benefactors for their contribution to the creation of the church.

“May this newly consecrated church become a true spiritual hospital for each of you and a quiet haven amid the stormy sea of life,” Metropolitan Mykolai told the faithful.

He expressed the hope that prayer would never cease within its walls and that future generations would find their path to God and peace of soul there.

At the conclusion of the celebrations, the hierarch presented high church awards to those who had made a particularly significant contribution to the construction of the church.

As previously reported by the UOJ, His Beatitude consecrated a church dedicated to St. Nicholas Sviatosha in Kyiv.
