OCCzLS Primate congratulates His Beatitude on enthronement anniversary

His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav, Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, congratulated Metropolitan Onuphry, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, on the 12th anniversary of his enthronement, the UOC Information and Education Department reports.

Metropolitan Rastislav sent a message to the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

“Your Beatitude, adorned with the noble labor of monastic life and wise archpastoral ministry, you are for all of us an example of sincere steadfastness in the Truth.”

The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia stressed that the Lord had chosen Metropolitan Onuphry for primatial ministry in these difficult times. According to Metropolitan Rastislav, through his unceasing prayer, high authority, and paternal love, His Beatitude embraces the sorrows of his flock. He also noted that the UOC Primate’s wise leadership protects the ship of the Church from internal discord and divisions.

Concluding his message, Metropolitan Rastislav wished the UOC Primate God’s abundant help.

“I prayerfully wish Your Beatitude God’s help in all things. May the All-Good Lord, through the prayers of His Most Pure Mother and all the saints, strengthen you in your primatial ministry to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and preserve you in good health for many blessed years!”

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the UOC is marking the 12th anniversary of Metropolitan Onuphry’s enthronement.
