Believers of Bukovyna Supported Pilgrims in Pochaiv
Believers from Bukovyna brought food for the pilgrims of the cross procession to the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra. This was reported by believers of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the UOC on Facebook.
The Bukovynians decided to support in deed the people who are covering hundreds of kilometers on foot with humble prayer. The participants of the cross procession were provided with hearty food and all necessary items to replenish the strength of the believers on the difficult journey.
The organizers thanked all the parishioners who joined this good cause for their sincere care, Christian self-sacrifice, and love for their neighbors. Orthodox Christians are now praying together for peace in Ukraine, for the defenders of the country, and for the strengthening of all participants of the cross procession.
As the UOJ reported, the traditional cross procession to Pochaiv Lavra set out from Kamianets-Podilskyi.
