A hierarch of the UOC consecrated a new bell tower in the village of Bukovo in Zakarpattia

Vicar Bishop of Rakhiv Mark consecrated a new bell tower in the Zakarpattian village of Bukovo. The bishop performed the festive rite after the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. John the Forerunner in the village of Bukovo. This was reported by the Khust Diocese.

Metropolitan Mark of Khust and Vynohradiv presided over the festive Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. John the Forerunner. Vicar Bishop of Rakhiv Mark and the clergy of the diocese concelebrated with the ruling hierarch. During the service, numerous faithful together with the clergy offered prayers to God. The Christians asked the Lord for peace and blessing for the Ukrainian people.

After the rite of consecration, the hierarchs congratulated the rector of the parish and the faithful on the feast day. The hierarchs wished the parishioners to ceaselessly glorify God. The bishops expressed hope that the ringing of the new bell tower would remind parishioners of the need to unceasingly glorify God.

As the SPJ reported, the vicar of the Khust Diocese consecrated a new chapel in the settlement of Yasynnya.
