On September 14, in Volodymyr, Volyn Region, TRC officers beat and took away the rector of the UOC Cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Mykulychi, Archpriest Oleksandr Tarasiuk, reports Pershyi Kozatskyi.

According to eyewitnesses, the attack occurred at around 12:30 near the Smykovsky market. It is claimed that the clergyman was beaten by a group of officers from the Volodymyr District TCC and SP.

After that, Archpriest Oleksandr was forcibly brought to the military commissariat building and directed to undergo a military medical commission.

According to available information, after the commission the UOC cleric was taken to a training ground in Volodymyr. Sources claim that due to the beatings he received, he is in serious condition.

Previously, The UOJ reported that the TRC abducted a deacon of the UOC cathedral in Volodymyr.
