By the blessing of Metropolitan Onuphry of Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv, a forum of volunteers and social workers was held on September 27, 2026, at the Spiritual and Educational Center "Foma" in Kharkiv, reports the Kharkiv Eparchy.

The event was attended by representatives of eparchial social and volunteer departments, clergy, and numerous public associations. During the meeting, forum participants discussed pressing issues of providing assistance to those in need and further coordination of their activities.

The ruling bishop of the Kharkiv Eparchy, Metropolitan Onuphry, addressed those present with an archpastoral word and thanked everyone for their work. The archpastor then presented awards to representatives of volunteer departments and public organizations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Metropolitan Onuphry gave his archpastoral blessing to those present and spoke with the forum participants.

The UOJ previously reported that UOC volunteers delivered 15 tons of humanitarian aid to the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
