OCU activist admits breaking into UOC church in Sloviansk

Oleksandr Onyshchenko on the church bell tower in Sloviansk. A still from a video published by the "Dozor" channel
OCU activist and initiator of the transfer of UOC communities in Sloviansk Oleksandr Onyshchenko said in a video that the first "service" had been held at the UOC’s Seraphim Church in Cherezkivka, reports the "Dozor" Telegram channel.
In the recording, filmed from the church's bell tower, which Onyshchenko calls "recently liberated from the Muscovites," he states that the shrine now belongs to the OCU.
Onyshchenko claims that weapons were allegedly stored in the church’s basement and that “Moscow terrorists” used to go there for confession and Communion. Naturally, he provides no evidence to support these claims in the video.
"Dozor" emphasizes that with this statement the activist actually took responsibility for breaking into the shrine the day before.
As the UOJ reported, unknown persons broke down the doors in two UOC churches in Sloviansk. Law enforcement opened a case on unlawful entry.
