The Nizhyn Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has launched a fundraising campaign to assist victims of Russian strikes on the city of Pryluky in Chernihiv Oblast. The eparchy announced the initiative on its Telegram channel.
The eparchy explained that the fundraiser was prompted by the large number of casualties resulting from Russian missile strikes on Pryluky. Anyone wishing to help is welcome to contribute.
Donations are being collected at churches throughout the Nizhyn Eparchy, where special collection boxes have been installed bearing the inscription: “For Victims of Bombings in Pryluky and Other Parts of the Eparchy.”
The eparchy thanked all donors for their generosity and wished them God's blessing.
As reported by the UOJ, prayers were offered in Pryluky for the wounded and the dead after the overnight Russian strike.
