In Zakarpattia, believers walked in a religious procession to a monastery for the feast in honor of the wonderworking icon of the Mother of God "Look Upon My Humility."

The Divine Liturgy was presided over by Metropolitan Theodor of Mukachevo and Uzhhorod, concelebrated by Bishop Veniamin of Skadovsk, Bishop Ilarion of Svaliava, the monastery's clergy, and visiting priests.

During the Liturgy, the faithful offered special prayers for peace in Ukraine, an end to the war, and the protection of the lives of Ukrainian service members.

Following the service, the clergy and faithful took part in a religious procession around the church. After the procession, Bishop Veniamin delivered a sermon on the life and spiritual struggles of the Apostle John the Theologian, encouraging those present to follow his example of love for God and their neighbors.

At the conclusion of the celebrations, Metropolitan Theodor congratulated the monastery's abbot, Archimandrite Luka, the monastic brotherhood, and all the parishioners on the patronal feast. The hierarch wished the faithful spiritual strength, peace, and God's help, and prayed for God's blessing and the gift of peace for the Ukrainian people.
