The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has notified a Kyiv female resident of criminal charges over antisemitic statements and calls for attacks on synagogues posted on Telegram, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to investigators, the suspect is originally from Sievierodonetsk and moved to the capital after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. During 2025–2026, she carried out approximately 100,000 activities in a public Telegram channel.
In her posts, the woman allegedly incited hatred, called for physical violence against members of the Jewish community and attacks on synagogues, as well as advocated violence against government leaders and members of parliament.
Law enforcement officers located the woman in Kyiv and seized a cell phone containing evidence during a search. She faces charges of publicly calling for the overthrow of the constitutional order and violating citizens' equal rights through threats. Authorities are currently seeking to have her held in pretrial detention.
As the UOJ previously reported, a rabbi thanked the SBU for arresting a Ukrainian man who had posted antisemitic threats.
