"I'd gladly become the executioner for UOC scum," journalist says
Kyiv FM journalist Bohdan Butkevych called the UOC "direct FSB management" and stated that he is ready to become an executioner at the trial against the Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC.
Journalist Bohdan Butkevych on Kyiv FM air with activist Maryna Koval stated that he would gladly act as an executioner at a trial against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
"I have my own scores to settle with them, with this very scum that pretends to be Christians, although they are not," said Butkevych.
Butkevych described the purpose of the broadcast, which focused on the campaign against the UOC, as determining whether there was any chance of “cutting off this hydra’s head.” He also suggested that after the war ends, the question would arise of whether “this shit should be allowed to remain here.”
“We’re talking about scum, absolute, outright scum,” Butkevych emphasized, referring to UOC clergy as “bastards in black cassocks.”
Speaking about Viktoria Kokhanovska, who regularly attends court hearings in defense of the UOC, Butkevych said: “People like her should be taken around the corner and given the kind of treatment that would make them never want to defend anyone again.”
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in 2014, Bohdan Butkevych called for the killing of 1.5 million Donbas residents during a broadcast on Hromadske.TV.
“The most important thing we need to do now, however cruel it may sound, is simply kill a certain category of people,” Butkevych declared.
