Odesa Eparchy sends UAH 1 mln in aid to Sviatohirsk Lavra
Another shipment of humanitarian aid from believers of the Odesa Eparchy has arrived at the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
On November 6, 2026, with the blessing of Metropolitan Agafangel of Odesa and Izmail, representatives of the Odesa Eparchy delivered humanitarian aid worth UAH 1 million to the Sviatohirsk Lavra, the eparchy's official Telegram channel reports.
The eparchy emphasized that supporting the Sviatohirsk Lavra means helping not only the monastery's brethren but also the hundreds of people who have sought refuge there, including displaced residents of frontline communities, elderly people, and those suffering from serious illnesses.
The monastery's brethren thanked Metropolitan Agafangel and the faithful for their care and support during this difficult period. They also expressed hope that the Lord would bless Ukraine with peace, noting that loving and compassionate people continue to help one another through these challenging times.
The organizers of the humanitarian mission also thanked everyone who contributed to the charitable effort.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy collected 25 tons of humanitarian aid for the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
