In Uhryniv a Priest of KP Urges Minors to Get Out of the House

How attractive can an ordinary village house be? Perhaps, the head of the UOC-KP community of village Uhryniv Mykola Seget knows it best as on the pre-holiday day he signed another claim for the family of the UOC priest, a senior of the village church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Rostyslav Sapozhnyk, to pay money and vacate the premises where the family of the priest is registered.

An information-analytical portal "About the Church" has repeatedly informed the readers about how hot the fight for the church property, including the house of the priest Sapozhnyk’s family, is getting in Uhryniv village. The Sapozhnyks are registered there and have been maintaining the house for more than 17 years. This time it turned out that the congregation of the UOC-KP, which operates under the patronage of the local authority Andriy Turak, has managed to privatize the house with the living family registered in it, and a plot of land, which is still under litigation.

Interestingly, though all the events are personally directed by a businessman, a deputy of Volyn Regional Council Turak, his name never appears in court papers: all "historical" documents are signed by the priest of the KP Mykola Seget, for whom, perhaps, the house is being vacated. Who will be responsible for lawlessness?

Note that this person is provided with housing, and on the territory of the church, seized a year ago, there is another house, conditioned for use and well-furnished with personal belongings of the Sapozhnyk family. During the events of last year, the Orthodox priest and his wife even failed to pick out their family dishes.

It should be recalled that according to the plan of the initiator of the inter-confessional conflict, a year ago, on the holiday of the Transfiguration of Christ, Rostyslav Sapozhnyk had to officially notify the rural community that he agreed to go under the patronage of the UOC-KP. In return for the betrayal of faith he was promised to stay in his own house and money. What guides people to deprive him of both, except for personal vengeance and envy?

We note that the present document is addressed not only to the cleric of the UOC and his wife regent, but their minor sons.

Therefore, Mr Seget unceremoniously offers a 17-year-old student and a11-year-old pupil, who have no their own housing, to vacate the house.
