SESS Filed a Lawsuit Against the Rovenkivska Diocese of the UOC
The hearing on the SESS lawsuit to terminate the activities of the Rovenkivska Diocese is scheduled for September 30.
The Sixth Appellate Administrative Court has opened proceedings on the lawsuit filed by the relevant state authority SESS seeking to terminate the activities of the Rovenkivska Diocese of the UOC. This was reported by the SESS website.
In addition to the liquidation of the diocese, representatives of the agency are requesting that financial assets, property, and other assets be transferred to state ownership.
The judicial panel will hold a hearing on September 30, 2026, at 14:00 at the address Kniaziv Ostrozʹkykh Street, 8, and has set a fifteen-day deadline for the defendant to prepare a written response to the lawsuit.
As the SPJ reported, SESS found the affiliation of the Zaporizhzhia Diocese with the ROC.
