Dear brothers and sisters!

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church is going through a trying time now. Streams of lies and falsehoods are often heard in its address. The canonical churches are being seized, by deception or force. Love and concern of the Church for our common homeland are being questioned.

But our Church, as Archbishop Onuphrius said, is a great patriot.

What allows us to assert so?

The mission of the Church is to help people live with God and be at peace with him. After all, He is the source of all wealth!

When people perform God’s commandments, turning to Him in prayer, then the blessings of God go down on our land and our people. Moreover, through the union with the Almighty we get everything we need to properly build our lives in preparation for the Fatherland of Heaven.

This is the true patriotism. After all, there is nothing more worthy and necessary for the people, as with all heart and soul to seek God, in His love draw strength for internal improvement and ensuring the prosperity of the Motherland on Earth.

That is why it is important to preserve and protect the Orthodox faith. It is Orthodoxy that is the steadfast foundation on which we can build our relationship with the Creator.

We believe that this time, as always, God will head off threatening danger from us. The main thing is to rely on all His goodness to us and not to renounce the Orthodox faith in times of trial.
