Filaret: Ukraine is dominated by godless people in the East, that’s why they have to bear the brunt
The population of the eastern Ukraine is distressed because there are more godless people there than in the western part. It was reported by the UOC KP Primate Filaret in his interview to Apostrophe.
“At present people are suffering more in the east of Ukraine compared with the West. Why? Because it is dominated by Christless citizens. Both the experience and the poll reveal the fact there are more godless people namely in the East rather than in the West. For this reason everybody is plagued in Ukraine”, with these words the head of the Kiev Patriarchate explained the cause of the war in Donbass.
He also added the war in Donbass is a punishment for atheism and other sins. “Unless they repent and turn to God, their distress will not cease”, stated the Kiev Patriarchate’s Primate.
