UOC Primate: One needs to turn to God – He will help us in any calamity

“Bearing in mind the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ should encourage a human,” remarked His Beatitude. “During our earthly life we experience various “checkerboard” periods – the time when we have good luck and enjoy high spirits and “black streaks” when we are hit by misfortunes, diseases, and a depressed state.”
His Beatitude called to prayerfully turn to God in hard times, since the Lord came into this world to save humans.
“In grievous moments people should remember the event of the Lord coming to the world. The Savior came to narrow down these black streaks and eliminate them altogether. What we need to do is just to appeal to God, Who is going to bail us out in any trouble,” stresses the Primate.
