"People of Victory": Veterans of Great Patriotic War to tell the faithful of Kiev about the war

A unique photo exhibition "People of Victory" dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War will be opened on May 9 in the "Sobornaya" gallery of the Spiritual and Educational Center at the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral of the UOC, reports the website of the Cathedral.

Within the framework of the event, veterans of the Great Patriotic War will tell the believers about the war.

A requiem for the dead in the battlefield will be served, followed by the concert dedicated to the holiday.

The exhibition will feature photos of veterans, included in the photo album "People of Victory. Let's live! ", which has recently been published by the TV channel "Inter".

The first photo album "People of Victory" came out on the day of liberation of Kiev in 2015. The book contains the history of 100 veterans from all regions of Ukraine.

"The "People of Victory " project is a document of the epoch. Reliable and uncompromising. We look today at the orders and medals of our veterans and understand their price like never before. We look at their photos, read their stories and know the only truth about the war, we understand why it ended with our Victory. Because it was these people, people of Victory who fought," say the authors of the announcement.

The beginning of the event is at 15.00. Free admission.
