The UOC warns against a new sect spreading throughout Ukraine
Archbishop Vladimir pays special attention to the fact that the activities of admirers of Archimandrite Raphael are conducted without the blessing of the ruling bishop.
"Actions in the territory of Orthodox churches, as well as violent activities in the cemetery in the village of Svyatovsilievk (Elizarovo) are committed contrary to the blessing, and sometimes even in violation of the canons of the Church," the statement said.
As reported by the UOJ, people who consider themselves admirers of the late Archimandrite Raphael are going to exhume his remains on August 10, while waiting for miracles.
"The search of the newly appeared" saints" instead of the Lord always leads to the deprivation of true God-communion," concludes Archbishop Vladimir.
