Scandalous UAOC bishop Mstislav (Guk) is disgowned

On August 10, in the building of the UAOC Patriarchate, at the meeting of the Patriarchal Council, Patriarchal Court and the Bishops' Council of the UAOC, Metropolitan Mstislav (Guk) was disgowned from the bishop’s miter. This is reported by the official site of the UAOC.

Besides, the session adopted a decision to restore the mention at divine worships of the UAOC Primate, His Beatitude Makariy, in Chernovtsy-Khotin eparchy.

In addition, a commission was established to investigate the alienated property of the Chervonogorod Castle and its return to the Ternopol diocese. Because of the scandal around the castle, Metropolitan Mstislav (Guk) lost his rank. Before that, his scandals in nightclubs were just a subject to reproach. According to the journalistic investigation, the former bishop of the UAOC managed to sell part of the castle at 382,578 UAH.
