Svoboda members want to check the legality of the construction of UOC church in Brody

At the initiative of the deputies of the VO ”Svoboda” and the local cell of the "Legion of Freedom", the Brody District Council demands to check the legality of the construction of the UOC church in the town of Brody, reports the site of the party.

On August 17, during the sessional meeting, at the insistence of the nationalists, the deputies of the Brody District Council addressed the President, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies with the corresponding statement.

"In Brody, the temple of the UOC-MP is being quietly built up. By the way, its clergy will "work" in the territory where there is a military unit, and it is possible that they will carefully monitor what is happening there," say the nationalists.

Earlier, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk said that "Svoboda" would ban the UOC.
