Court arrests the temple in Ptichya again – doors sealed by police
Rector of the Holy Assumption temple of the UOC in Ptichya village Grigory Stadnik
The representatives of the UOC-KP signed an agreement that the issue of the title to the temple would be resolved after April 18 at a general meeting of the two religious communities.
According to the source of the UOJ, some parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church remain suspicious that not all the supporters of the Kyiv Patriarchate, who took over the temple yesterday, have left it now. Believers say that several times they have seen silhouettes of the people in the windows.
On April 2, the Dubno district court canceled the arrest imposed on the Holy Assumption church of the UOC of Ptichya village. On the same day, late at night, the temple was seized by people in camouflage and balaclavas.
