I'm an atheist and I'm for autocephaly in Ukraine, - blogger-journalist

Journalist Aider Muzhdabaev

The creation of the Single Local Church in Ukraine is an important decision for every Ukrainian, regardless of their confession. Aider Muzhdabaev, a blogger-journalist and a member of the Union of Crimean Tatars of Moscow, said in a video on his YouTube channel.

"I'm an atheist, but I understand that autocephaly is important for any person in our country," Muzhdabaev said. "The separation from the Moscow Patriarchate is an epoch-making decision for ages. And this decision can be compared to joining NATO."

According to the blogger's forecasts, the Tomos can be granted already in September, and most parishioners will move to the newly formed church structure. At the same time, Muzhdabaev is sure that this process will be resisted in every possible way.

"All this shobla, which revolves around the ROC, all these boxers who go to perform in Moscow. All this grows from there," said the blogger, referring to, apparently, the world boxing champion Alexander Usik.

Boxer Alexander Usik went to Moscow this year to fight for the title of champion of WBSS. Before the victory in the battle against the Russian Murat Gassiev, the Ukrainian boxer said that he was doing everything for the sake of the Orthodox faith.

On January 17, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine received Alexander Usik at his Lavra residence.
