Head of S14 published his photo with Petro Poroshenko at Tomos feast

Leader of S14 Yevgeny Karas at the closed "hierarchal liturgy" in St Sophia

Photos from the site of the "historical event" were posted by Karas on his page on Facebook.

“I kept smiling all the time. A historical event. By the way, exactly one year ago we blocked the Lavra with the banner "Down with the FSB from the Lavra" on this day. And now the Ukrainian church has been established, of which no one even dreamed,” commented the right-wing leader his photo on which he was captured in the Sofia Cathedral next to President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

It should be noted that far from everyone, who wanted to attend the OCU’s hierarchical liturgy on the granting of the Tomos, was allowed to the venue: the entrance to the territory of St. Sophia Cathedral was strictly limited, while the rest were invited to watch the worship on large screens installed in the square.

As the UOJ reported Evgeny Karas-led right-wing radicals from S14 group constantly organize provocations near the UOC churches and terrorize the clergy and believers. The nationalists have repeatedly picketed the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, broken into the monastery "to seek separatists", organized provocations around the Nativity of the Mother of God Tithe monastery and blocked the office of the UOJ, the resource which publishes materials related to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
