Voznesensk eparchy discusses seizures of UOC churches with OSCE commission
Bishop Alexy of Voznesensk and Pervomaisk at a meeting with the OSCE
On January 24, a meeting with representatives of the OSCE was held in the Voznesensk eparchy, reports the website of the UOC eparchy.
During the meeting, topical issues of the religious situation in Ukraine were discussed. Bishop Alexy of Voznesensk and Pervomaisk focused on the need to respect the rights of believers and the inadmissibility of raider seizures of the temples of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Earlier, clerics of the Odessa eparchy, protopriests Yevgeny Gutyar and Sergiy Dmitriev, told representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission about conflicts around the temples of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the region.
