In Pogreby during an attempted seizure police take all out of the temple

Representatives of the territorial community who are not parishioners entered the church during the service

According to the head of the Legal Department of the Borispol Eparchy of the UOC, Archpriest Alexey Nosenko, on March 17, 2019, representatives of the territorial community who are not parishioners of the Assumption Church of the UOC, voted for the “transfer” to the OCU and entered the church during the service. Arriving at the scene, the police took everyone out of the temple.

We recall that the Assumption Church is under the threat of a forcible transfer to OCU. The religious community of the temple spoke in favor of remaining in the bosom of the canonical Church. In early February, while the religious community prayed for the strengthening of love in the temple, in the village council the territorial community unanimously voted for the transfer under the jurisdiction of the new church structure. At the same time, it refused to vote for “distrust” to the rector of the church, Archpriest Igor Bagley.

As the UOJ reported, in order to persuade the villagers to transfer the Assumption Church to a new church structure, the OCU activists resorted to lies and outright manipulations.
