In vlg. Zalozhtsy the unknown attack chapel of brutally tortured UOC cleric
Chapel at the grave of priest Peter Boyarsky
In the village of Zalozhtsy, Ternopol region, vandals smashed the chapel at the burial site of the UOC priest Peter Boyarsky, the law enforcement officers investigating the incident, the First Cossack channel reported.
According to one of the parishioners of the canonical Church, the chapel protected the faithful from the nasty weather.
Priest Peter performed services in the St. Nicholas church in Zaporozhye. At the age of 21, the young UOC cleric was subjected to cruel torture and killed by unknown persons. The murderers burned the priest’s eyes with a soldering iron and his viscera with a gas burner. The body of the tortured priest was found only on the 4th day.
On November 17, 1993, the cleric predicted that he would die and his father, Mikhail Boyarsky, would become a priest and perform the obedience of the temple rector in his native village. His predictions came true exactly.
Father Peter had always been a sympathetic and humble person, so the parishioners loved him very much. After his death, believers from different regions of Ukraine began to visit the clergyman’s grave; there were recorded cases of miraculous relief through prayers at the cleric’s burial place.
