Representative of Polish Orthodox Church arrives in Amman

On the evening of February 25, 2020, Archbishop Abel of Lublin-Chełm, who represents the Polish Orthodox Church, arrived in Amman to participate in a fraternal meeting initiated by the Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, report UOJ own sources.
Earlier, the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, Metropolitan Rostislav, the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinei, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, and the representative of the Romanian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Nifon of Târgovişte have arrived in Jordan to participate in the Council of Primates.
As reported, the Synaxis of Church heads, which is held on February 26, will be closed for the media.
