On March 4, 2020, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Vladimir Borodiansky from the Cabinet of Ministers under Alexei Goncharuk refused to work in the new government under Denis Shmygal, reports “Strana”.
According to the media outlet, the main reason for Borodiansky's decision is the division of his department into the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The ex-official noted that the stated reason is not the only one.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vladimir Borodiansky appointed and the Cabinet of Ministers approved Elena Bohdan in the post of the head of the State Service for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience.
