In Zvenyhorodka, Cherkasy region, the Сity Сouncil has banned the UOC.

The mayor of Zvenyhorodka Oleksandr Sayenko in a comment to "Ukrinform" said that the deputies "decided not to wait for the Verkhovna Rada decision, and the last straw was a video from the Pechersk Lavra", where allegedly Moscow priests glorified the Russian Federation.

As reported, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Ukrainian police launched an investigation into a fake video with chants about Russia in the Russian language at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Earlier, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church explained why the video was 100% fake.

Earlier, the Chernivtsi City Council adopted an appeal to the President to ban the UOC in Ukraine.
