Oleksiy Honcharenko, a deputy from the European Solidarity party, addressed the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal with a proposal to deprive the Kyiv-Pechersk and Pochaiv Lavra of the right to lease. The MP wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

According to Honcharenko, the Cabinet of Ministers, using all its powers, should terminate the lease agreements and transfer the Lavra to the OCU.

“This is our story. Our Lavras. Our shrines,” said the MP.

“The time has come to show strength and drive the merchants and robbers out of the house of God. And not only from the Lavra, but from all over Ukraine, too,” added the fighter against the UOC from Poroshenko's European Solidarity party.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that MP Honcharenko was caught lying about the UOC community in Kropyvnytskyi.
