Madonna blasphemes Christ and the Virgin in Vanity Fair's Icon Issue

American singer Maria Luisa Ciccone, who calls herself "Madonna", appeared in the image of Christ and the Virgin for a blasphemous photo shoot of Vanity Fair magazine, according to dailymail.co.uk.

The 64-year-old singer wore a headpiece from Dolce & Gabbana and was photographed against the backdrop of the image of a heart pierced by seven daggers, which resembles the icon of the "Seven-shot" Virgin.

The blasphemous Icon Issue project, which was described as "daring" by journalists, was created in collaboration with the French, Italian and Spanish editions of the magazine.

Madonna, who recently announced a 40th anniversary tour, also recreated Leonardo da Vinci's “The Last Supper” in a blasphemous caricature.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that a group in the guise of "schemas" with inverted crosses performed in Ternopil.
