Zelensky to make Islamic holidays public

Islamic holidays Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr will receive the status of state holidays in Ukraine. This was reported by Vladimir Zelensky during the meeting with representatives of the Crimean Tatar people, the official resource of the President of Ukraine reports.
Zelensky said that a new large mosque will be built for representatives of the Crimean Tatars in Kiev.
A working group will be created in the President’s Office to address the problems of the Crimean Tatar people. According to the Head of State, Crimean Tatars should be represented at the highest diplomatic level. The President approved the candidacy of Emine Dzhaparova (currently, Radio Liberty journalist) for the post of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
In addition, Vladimir Zelensky noted that as a result of agreements with the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan, 500 apartments for IDPs from the Crimea will be built in the Kherson Region.
Recall, the President said earlier that the slogan “Ukraine is Europe” should become part of the consciousness of Ukrainians.
