Clergy of foreign parishes of the UOC take spiritual care among Orthodox Ukrainians not only in their communities but also within Ukraine itself, says Archpriest Mykola Danilevych in his article posted on the DECR website.

According to him, the war posed new challenges and difficulties to the Church, but despite this, the UOC continues to do everything for the good of the Ukrainian people and Ukraine.

Fr Mykola also spoke about the aid that UOC communities abroad are giving to Ukrainian defenders and civilians.

"Our communities raise funds for the AFU, collect and send humanitarian aid to Ukraine. And recently, through joint efforts, all our communities abroad have jointly purchased a car for the AFU, consecrated by our priest in Leipzig, and it is now on its way to Ukraine," he said.

As reported, the DECR deputy head commented on an article accusing the UOC of "discrediting Ukraine on the international arena" because of the opening of parishes abroad.
